It was through a fortunate annoyance that Shane Steele discovered he was on to something.
Ever the businessman, he convinced a doctor to allow him to display Vemma/Verve! products in his lobby. So he set off to create a display that would showcase the entire product line. And the display performed… overtime, and better than expected. Eventually, Shane was asked to remove the display – for the simple reason that it performed too well. It was taking too much of the doctor’s time trying to answer his patients’ questions. And the idea for www.vemmadisplay.com was born.
With the idea to help out his fellow Vemma brand partners, Shane brainstormed product ideas. And the light bulb lit up, many times.
Sometime later and with many products on the roster, www.vemmadisplay.com was online and ready to receive orders. “It’s a good place to get innovative products,” he said.
The Vemma Display product line includes the “works-too-well” displays, professional full product line briefcases, license plates, stickers, logoed clothing and promotional items – each designed with one idea in mind: to make your presentation look good in any situation.
And items soon to appear from Shane’s innovation pipeline include automotive rear window stickers and retail business front door “Vemma Sold Here” stickers. Who knows, perhaps we will soon gaze upon beer-style Vemma/Verve! neon signs.
Team VerveMonkeys and guests recently gathered at Ragtops and Roadsters to hold a benefit auction to help the Feed A Family charity and to raise funds for the newly opened Vemma South center.
The dual benefit of the event was somewhat reminiscent of Vemma’s nutritional and business approach – both work beautifully.
Approximately $800 was paid to the Feed A Family charity, just in time for the holidays. “The event exceeded my expectations,” said VerveMonkeys team member Mike Saless.
Team VerveMonkeys would like to thank Gary Roberts and Ragtops and Roadsters, Dorian Hooks, Britt El-Kheddiwi, Stacy Davis, Lisa Kimton and all others involved in making this event a success. A special thank you is also extended to all the businesses and individuals who donated items, time and efforts.
Team VerveMonkeys made an appearance at a YMCA sponsored swim meet in Eden, NC, a small city just north of Greensboro and Winston-Salem.
The event was held November 14, and attracted approximately 12 swim teams from North Carolina and neighboring Virginia. Team VerveMonkeys member Mike Saless said his Vemma/Verve booth was visited by athletes ranging in ages from 6 to 18. Parents – lots of them – and grand-parents were also on hand to sample the entire Vemma/Verve product line.
When asked why he would travel to another state to attend an event, Saless explained that his booth was the only one there and that he was an obvious standout. “Don’t limit yourself, you can help a lot of people. Think outside the box,” said Saless. He also recalled the story of a swimmer who sampled three of the Vemma/Verve products. “He went on to win 6 out of 7 races,” he said.
Vemma/Verve was well represented at this year’s X Con Comic & Movie Convention 2009 held at Springmaid Resort, Myrtle Beach, SC. We had the pleasure of meeting I-Con’s from the Comic Industry. It was an honor to get to know such talented individuals. We added flare and excitement to all who visited. We are looking forward to being a part of the 2010 show.
